Alaina is a sweet, vibrant girl whose strength has carried her through an incredibly difficult journey. Earlier this year, her family’s world changed when she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, an aggressive brain tumor.

After undergoing two surgeries to remove the tumor, Alaina began the next chapter of her fight with chemotherapy. Now, after three rounds, she continues to face the challenges that come with treatment, including significant nausea and neuropathy that has recently made even getting out of bed difficult.

But through it all, Alaina continues to find moments of joy, whether it’s meeting a therapy dog or simply sharing a smile with the people around her.

Her family’s motto has become “one day at a time,” a reminder of the courage it takes to keep moving forward, even when the road is difficult.
